Nicolas Benguigui's research work is situated in the multidisciplinary framework of Science and Techology of Physical Activities and Sport. It is supported by the theories and methods of behavioral neuroscience and cognitive science. It is centered on the study of perceptual-motor and cognitive mechanisms involved in the realization of complex motor actions allowing interaction with moving objects. This research is organized around two main objectives. The first is to identify the sources of information that can be used to control these interactions. The second is to explain how the different information collected from the environment is used to regulate the timing of these interactions.
