Goals
Scientific objectives of the school
- To highlight the different sources of existing data, in particular for the analyst participants (computer scientists and mathematicians).
- To introduce data analysis techniques in a way that allows non-analysts to make relevant choices.
- To have data owners/users interact with analyst participants in order to concretize interesting problems, identify necessary data collection processes.
Training objectives
- To give analysts a better idea of the data available and the sport specificities to be integrated.
- To create opportunities for data owners to add value to their data collection and to clarify the requirements in terms of detail and volume.
- To give data users a better idea of the available analysis tools/processes in order to provide inspiration for possible problems.
